The location is part of a busy local community – a short walk from the house there are local shops and pubs and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal runs directly behind the garden - this gives access to Fourteen Locks Canal and Heritage Centre which has beautiful 18th-century locks, its own tea rooms and a host of family-friendly events and activities throughout the year. The canal towpath is part of the National Cycle Route 47 and the Sirhowy Valley Walk and is surrounded by a striking landscape.

 

There is a bus stop just a few steps from the front driveway and the local train station is also in walking distance.
